COURSE OBJECTIVES
The US is one of the easiest jurisdictions to do business. However, the United States legal system is renowned for its complexity, comprising federal and state laws, intricate regulatory frameworks, and a dynamic judicial system.
This course will provide a broad overview of legal issues involved in doing business in the US. It is designed to equip legal professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the unique legal climate of the United States. It begins with an in-depth exploration of the U.S. legal system, shedding light on its federal structure, common law traditions, and the critical role of precedent.
Participants will also delve into key areas such as contract law, intellectual property, employment regulations, and US litigation, gaining a nuanced understanding of how these facets interact within the American legal framework.
