COURSE OBJECTIVES
The Negotiating International Contracts in English course is designed to improve your language skills and enhance your techniques for negotiating international commercial contracts in English. As a stand-alone training or a follow-up to the Drafting International Contracts in English course, this one-day workshop covers the essentials of negotiation language, style and strategy and gives you the opportunity to practice effective negotiating techniques and behaviour. The key takeaway: an immediate boost to your skills and confidence in negotiating international contracts in English.

PREREQUISITE
Intermediate level in English.

PROGRAM CONTENT

  • Develop an effective communication style

  • Understand the language appropriate to different negotiations styles and strategies
  • Learn essential skills for negotiating commercial terms and resolving disputes
  • Strengthen your approach to negotiating key contractual terms including indemnities, warranties and exclusion clauses

ECLA will issue a certificate to each participant at the end of the course indicating the exact hours of training
